Dr. Gordon is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing culturally-sensitive, specialized intervention to infants, young children and families who are at risk and/or have
experienced trauma. She has a Doctorate in clinical psychology and a Masters in Psychology and in Clinical Psychopharmacology. Dr. Gordon is a California-endorsed Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist, Certified Infant Massage Instructor by World Institute for Nurturing Communication (WINC) without borders, Certified Effective Black Parenting Instructor, and Advanced level provider of Developmental Individual Relationship (DIR) Floortime. Dr. Gordon has over 16 years of clinical supervision and consultation experience in both the public and private sector. Dr. La Faune Gordon has presented and published many works.
Mrs. Cortez has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology. She is a certified Infant Massage Instructor by WINC without Borders and Parent Educator.
Mrs. Cortez is fluent in English and Spanish, is culturally aware, able to effectively communicate and connect well with our children and families, and is actively engaged with the community in need. In addition to the above, she is a registered behavioral technician and has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her professional interests include providing both direct and indirect clinical services to families in need.

Ms. Martinez earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is bilingual (English & Spanish) as well as bicultural. Ms. Martinez’ professional interest consist of providing services to children and adults experiencing mental illness and/or trauma. Her goal is to provide client- sensitive therapeutic techniques, build and gain trust from clients, and to assist in facilitating positive change for children, adults, and families.
